Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join our growing team This individual will focus primarily on commercial lending, building strong relationships with business clients, and driving new business growth in alignment with the bank’s goals and credit culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial and industrial clients through proactive business development and relationship management.

  • Identify new lending opportunities by networking, calling on prospects, and partnering with internal team members to support business growth.

  • Analyze and structure credit requests to ensure compliance with bank policies, sound credit principles, and regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare loan presentations and recommendations for credit approval.

  • Monitor ongoing credit quality of existing relationships and ensure timely renewals and reviews.

  • Collaborate with credit analysts, underwriters, and other internal partners to deliver a superior client experience.

  • Represent the bank in the community through active participation in professional and civic organizations.

Qualifications

  • 3 years ag/commercial lending experience

  • Strong credit analysis and financial statement interpretation skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage client relationships and generate new business.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
