Confidential Opportunity &- Commercial Project Manager (Diverse Project Portfolio)
A well-established and growing commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee a diverse range of projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional who enjoys managing varied work, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a company with a strong pipeline and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project scope requirements
- Lead project planning, procurement, and subcontractor buyout processes
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project requirements
- Monitor job progress and proactively resolve issues to maintain schedule and budget
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and forecasts to leadership and clients
- Support superintendent teams to ensure successful field execution
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Experience managing diverse project types (office, retail, healthcare, etc.)
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software preferred
