PAY AND FAIR LABOR STANDARDS ACT (FLSA) STATUS:

Pay Range: 856

Hourly Rate: $14.75 - $19.75

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

The normal starting pay for this position is the minimum of the pay range listed above. A higher rate of pay may be considered, dependent on the qualifications and experience of the selected applicant.

DEPARTMENTAL INFORMATION

This position provides critical clerical, technical, and customer service support to ensure efficient operation of crews responsible for patching potholes, repairing roads, and drainage maintenance. Serves as the first point of contact by answering phones, responding to emails, and addressing resident's inquiries. Also, instrumental in creating, tracking and closing out work orders within a computerized system to document maintenance activities.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is located in the Street and Drainage Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department within the City of Oklahoma City and is responsible for providing advanced administrative support, including higher level clerical and research duties. Typical duties include: assisting in a variety of administrative matters; maintaining a wide variety of statistical records; verifying elementary statistical data and reports for accuracy and completeness; and providing technical assistance or support to professional staff. Other duties may include: assisting in conducting surveys and/or research relating to department/agency operations; inputting and maintaining data in computerized system and generating computerized reports; and performing related duties as assigned.

Pay Method: City employees are required to receive pay electronically, either via direct deposit or pay card.

If the position accepted is cyber security sensitive, internal and external applicants will be subject to a Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Interstate Identification Index (III) Fingerprint Background check.
